An app for smartphones, created by Jorge Lima, a student of the University of Porto, Faculty of Engineering, allows the passenger to state what he/she prefers regarding flight connections, flight schedule and waiting times. This app is integrated with our IROPS solution management product, allowing the airline to automatically interact with the passenger and arriving at the best solution to the passenger and with the lowest cost for the airline.
Jorge Lima is among the six MSc and PhD thesis awarded by Fraunhofer Institute in 2016 with the award “Best Research of Practical Utility”
